Atlanta, GA – January 25, 2024 – Today, iHeartPodcasts and legendary music executive Jerry Clark announced the return of his groundbreaking podcast, "Storytime with Legendary Jerry,” with a focus on Southern Hip Hop. Relaunching on January 31the eagerly anticipated podcast promises an authentic and captivating journey through the rich history of Southern rap music, with Atlanta at the heart, featuring exclusive interviews and compelling discussions with industry icons and executives. The debut episode, featuring Atlanta-born rapper and producer Pastor Troy, will set the tone for the podcast's commitment to providing intimate interviews as he and Clark reminisce on his "No Mo Play in G.A." performance at Hot 107.9's Birthday Bash at Lakewood Amphitheatre where headliner Master P said "he wasn't going on after Troy" and took him off the show. Atlanta legends, Goodie Mob still let Pastor Troy join them on stage, creating a viral moment before viral moments were even a thing. The two go on to discuss the early stages of his career, signing to Universal Records, and Atlanta's current rap scene.
