LOS ANGELES – December 4, 2025 – iHeartPodcasts, the No. 1 podcast publisher globally according to Podtrac, has announced the newest show in an overall podcast deal announced with Danielle Fishel earlier this year. The original pop culture interview series titled “Teen Beat” will be hosted by director, producer, actor (formerly Topanga Lawrence on the ‘90s TV staple “Boy Meets World”) and recent “Dancing with the Stars” competitor, Danielle Fishel. “Teen Beat” will premiere January 2026, with the official trailer available now, HERE.

Coming off the pop culture juggernaut of Season 34 of “Dancing with the Stars” and the companion iHeartPodcast recapping her journey on the show, Fishel is now elevating her interviews with a new, weekly series.

As someone who spent her teenage years on millions of television screens, from her first kiss to her first haircut, Fishel has decided it’s time to turn the tables. She’ll sit down with other celebrities to unearth details from their (untelevised) upbringings, cracking open childhood diaries for embarrassing fashion choices, school crushes and dramatic friend fallouts. Since most people’s bouts with pimples weren’t broadcast during a beloved TGIF lineup, the least they can do now is talk about theirs.

Teen Beat” will further deepen the long-standing creative partnership between Fishel and her husband Jensen Karp, who co-executive produce their growing slate of shows for iHeartPodcasts. The slate includes the hit series “Pod Meets World,” now closing in on 50 million downloads with co-hosts Will Friedle and Rider Strong. They also executive produce “How Rude, Tanneritos!” with Andrea Barber and Jodie Sweetin, and “Magical Rewind” with Friedle and Sabrina Bryan. Their new overall deal will find them exclusively producing and developing new projects for iHeartPodcasts, expanding the successful creative partnership for years to come.

“I have cherished my relationship with iHeart over the past three years and look forward to our newly minted future,” Fishel explains. “Like only I have said, loudly in the hallways of their office: I am the new Ryan Seacrest.”
