NEW YORK, N.Y. – September 30 – iHeartMedia celebrated new music recently with World Premiere debuts across iHeartRadio stations from hit artists, including Paramore’s “This Is Why,” their first single in four years, on September 28 on all Alternative stations. Godsmack’s new single “Surrender” had a World Premiere debut on September 28 across all iHeartRadio Rock stations. Additionally, The Isley Brothers had a “Feature 5” spotlight on all iHeartRadio R&B stations on September 30.

This week, iHeartRadio celebrated Carrie Underwood and John Mellencamp with special shows highlighting their latest accomplishments. iHeartRadio LIVE with Carrie Underwood on September 29 from Nashville, Tenn. The unique event, a partnership with Meta, is available to viewers with a Meta Quest 2 headset who can watch the VR performance in Meta Horizon Worlds. It is also available on iHeartRadio’s Facebook, and aired across iHeartCountry stations and the iHeartRadio app. Underwood performed a setlist packed with songs from her new album Denim & Rhinestones, including “Ghost Story”, as well as previously released fan favorites, and shared plans for THE DENIM & RHINESTONES TOUR.

Also on September 29, John Mellencamp was featured on a special iHeartRadio ICONS radio broadcast live from Cleveland, Ohio. Mellencamp performed at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame to celebrate the announce of his 76 show “Live and In Person 2023” Tour and the opening of the “Legends of Rock: John Mellencamp Exhibit,” a permanent exhibit in his honor. Mellencamp spoke about the upcoming tour, new exhibit, performed hits like “Jack & Diane” and “Pink Houses” and more, in front of a packed crowd.
